Energize 2026

Feb. 11, 2026
Emmanuel Baptist Church, Barrie

Great camps don’t just happen—they’re built by strong teams and intentional culture. Join us for a one-day event that is designed for camp leaders and staff who want to attract, retain, and energize their teams. From smart staffing strategies to cultivating a positive, resilient staff culture, this day is packed with practical tools, real talk, and fresh ideas.

Staffing and retention continue to be some of the most pressing challenges facing camps today. Recruiting the right people, supporting them well, and creating a culture where staff want to stay isn’t just difficult—it’s essential to delivering safe, meaningful, and life-giving camp experiences.

Brad Halsey, who is a camp professional and consultant is flying in from Alberta to speak specifically to you as camp staff and leaders who are navigating these realities in real time. Together, we’ll explore practical strategies for attracting and retaining staff, addressing burnout, and building a positive staff culture grounded in care, purpose, and shared values. Participants will gain tools they can immediately apply to strengthen their teams and support staff as they serve with excellence and integrity.

After lunch, we’ll break out into smaller groups to connect, learn from peers, share challenges, and walk away encouraged—reminded that this work matters and that you’re not carrying it alone.

Come for the strategies. Leave with momentum.
