The Performing Arts Coordinator organizes, plans, and implements music to accompany campfire and chapel sessions. This can entail the recruitment and scheduling of a music team. He/she will set the outline for each week in accordance with developmentally appropriate songs for the corresponding age groups and will prepare materials such as song sheets or PowerPoint slides. The Performing Arts Coordinator is also responsible for assisting speakers in the preparation and delivery of their presentation material. This can mean providing skits, plays, dances, and other forms of artistic expression in order to bring clarity and better understanding for the children. He/she will also be responsible to plan, supervise, and lead Art Options for campers, which include, but are not limited to: music, dance, jewelry making, painting, string art, sun-dry pottery, and painting, etc.
