Responsibilities:
• Lead and teach outdoor education and recreational activities for guest groups. Assist in running program for all guest groups: families, schools, churches, etc. Games, activities, campfires, etc.
• Teach assigned activities as aspects of outdoor education to groups of 10-12 children during the guest group season. Your unique experience will be taken into account, and training will be provided in each area that you may be involved in.
• Assist in providing custodial services to groups, and in the general maintenance of the site.
Education and Skills:
• Experience leading, teaching, and/or facilitating groups of children and youth is an asset.
• Courses, training, or prior experience related to program areas is an asset. Training is provided in program areas that you will be expected to lead.
Personal Qualities:
• Enjoys investing intentionally in children and youth.
• Outgoing, a team player with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• A desire and willingness to assist in any area when asked or needed.
• Characteristics of great program staff: a passionate disciple of Jesus Christ who is excited to disciple children; an enthusiastic and flexible teacher who is teachable; a Christ-like leader who is self-disciplined, self-motivated, positive, and willing to serve.
