About the Position

Located in Haliburton Ontario, Medeba is seeking to fill the position of Office Manager. Medeba is a Christian organization whose mission is; to use adventure and community to challenge young people to continually say yes to God.

In alignment with this mission, the Office Manager will oversee office operations and support office work by managing office equipment and supplies for 15 full-time employees. This role oversees our Summer Secretary, photographers and the Alpine Store Coordinator. Our office manager is the Registrar for our summer camp ministry and during the summer is responsible for registration, intake and out-take of all summer guests. This role will include being our social media coordinator where they will lead, create and deliver content for an ongoing social media presence for Medeba. This role is generally 9:00 – 5:30 Monday to Friday in the non-summer months and 8-10 hour days for 6 days a week in the summer.

General Office

  • To oversee the efficient running of the Medeba office, supporting 15 year-round staff that work out of the office.

Summer Registrar

  • Oversee the registration process for Summer Camp & assist with LIT registration.
  • Serve on the Summer Camp Year-round Staff Team with the Summer Camp and Assistant Summer Camp Director.

Social Media Coordinator

  • To oversee Medeba’s social media presence on various social media platforms

Alpine Store Personnel Coordinator

  • To oversee the running of the Alpine Store.
  • Alpine Store products and ordering the responsibility of another staff member.

Miscellaneous Areas

  • To be a spiritual support in our Summer Staff Team
  • To support the Website team
  • To oversee and organize Medeba’s photo and video library
  • Be on the Sponsorship Team
  • To actively support Medeba’s mission to challenge young people to continually say yes to God.
  • To be willing to help out in other areas, when requested, which are in support of the ministry but are not specified in the Employment Agreement.
