Youth for Christ Winnipeg is looking for an energetic individual to serve on-site as Maintenance Director at Camp Cedarwood. Camp Cedarwood is a ministry of YFC Winnipeg located at Pinawa Bay, Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba that focuses on providing youth with a camp experience that is rooted in the Gospel. A successful candidate will be passionate about helping others and using their experience, skills, and knowledge to support the ministry of YFC in changing the lives of youth.
Responsibilities include overseeing ongoing property maintenance and repairs; building, refurbishing, and maintaining recreational structures; maintaining site equipment, vehicles, boats, etc; maintaining roads, walkways, and activity trails during the different seasons; conducting regular building inspections to ensure the quality of work and cleanliness of the facility; maintaining and monitoring site systems (water, septic, power/generator, etc); and ensuring the camp remains compliant with all applicable policies, regulations, and building codes.
