About the Position

Duties:

  • Execute annual fundraising plans and strategies to meet financial goals
  • Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors, sponsors, and grant-making bodies
  • Calls and meetings with donors on a weekly basis
  • Update and manage the CRM
  • Write and distribute a monthly newsletter for donors
  • Coordinate and lead fundraising events and campaigns with the Executive Director
  • Identify new funding opportunities and apply for grants aligned with the camp mission
  • Manage donor recognition activities
  • Prepare and present progress reports to the Camp Seggie board and leadership team
  • Collaborate on marketing plans to promote fundraising initiatives
  • Develop and manage the annual fundraising budget

Relevant Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced public speaker
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google workspace
  • Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations, within a non-profit environment is an added benefit
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A passion for youth development, faith-based initiatives, and community service
