About the Position
Duties:
- Execute annual fundraising plans and strategies to meet financial goals
- Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors, sponsors, and grant-making bodies
- Calls and meetings with donors on a weekly basis
- Update and manage the CRM
- Write and distribute a monthly newsletter for donors
- Coordinate and lead fundraising events and campaigns with the Executive Director
- Identify new funding opportunities and apply for grants aligned with the camp mission
- Manage donor recognition activities
- Prepare and present progress reports to the Camp Seggie board and leadership team
- Collaborate on marketing plans to promote fundraising initiatives
- Develop and manage the annual fundraising budget
Relevant Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced public speaker
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google workspace
- Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations, within a non-profit environment is an added benefit
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A passion for youth development, faith-based initiatives, and community service
