Camp Sagitawa is a Christian camp community located on beautiful Moberly Lake in northern BC. We are committed to caring for people and connecting them with Christ through meaningful relationships, outdoor experiences, and programs that encourage personal growth and faith.
We’re looking for a Food Service Manager who enjoys cooking for groups, leading a team, and creating a welcoming kitchen environment for campers, guests, staff, and volunteers. This role oversees all food service operations at camp, including menu planning, ordering, meal preparation, kitchen safety standards, staff scheduling, and supporting seasonal volunteers and interns.
The right candidate will have experience in a commercial or large-group kitchen, strong organizational skills, and a genuine love for serving people through hospitality. Experience leading staff or volunteers, accommodating dietary needs, and cooking for groups of 20–120 people is important. Food Safe Level 2 (or willingness to obtain) is required, and First Aid is an asset.
Because Camp Sagitawa is a Christian ministry, applicants should have a personal Christian faith, support the camp’s Statement of Faith and Mission, and be comfortable participating in prayer, devotions, and mentoring seasonal staff.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced camp environment with busier summer seasons balanced by a lighter off-season schedule. On-site housing and utilities are provided, along with paid vacation time, complimentary meals during guest programs, and access to camp recreational equipment when available.
