Leadership Summit 2025 - Iron Sharpening Iron!

November 24-26, 2025
Stillwood Camp & Conference

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED

Team unity has become cliché in our world today… but do we really know how to practically understand if our team is even healthy? In our time together, Greg will facilitate us through a simple model of seeing God’s design for Kingdom unity, and then practically look at tools and activities that can guide us from self-awareness to others-awareness to realized Christ-revealing interdependence. Through understanding both our spiritual gifts and our personality, we will see God’s unique design for each team and staff, leaving us ready to explode with the love of Jesus on those He entrusts to us at our camps.

Who is this For?
If you are in any kind of leadership position at your camp, whether you lead a team of one other or a team of many, you will benefit from this training.  The discussions and exercises will help you know how to create a better team that works very well together.

Included:
Prior to the Leadership Summit, you will be asked to complete the GRIP+ (from the Grip Birkman Assessments). This is a team based assessment to understand how the Holy Spirit empowers us together for His Kingdom purposes. It includes GRIP (spiritual gifts triangle with Gifts, Team Styles, and Body Building Roles), Our Values, and Discerning Direction Together.  Combined, these assessments provide the framing and language necessary for each team to dig deeply into God’s unique design for them. The cost for the GRIP+ assessment is INCLUDED in the registration fee. (More details about the Grip+ can be found here)

Objectives:
Learn concretely how to discover if your staff is a healthy team
Discover our unique design, including our unique need for others through the application of tools and activities
Experience and practice team discovery and application that will transform your staff

Success in our time:
You feel awakened to what God could do through you in building up the unique teams around you
You have confidence in 2 or 3 tools that can help you where you are at today
You lean boldly into your need for others, and know how to share about it
You leave with practical steps to implement new team activities and tools that will equip your ministry

Event Speakers

Greg Langman

Keynote

Greg Langman is the co-owner of Lead From Transformation, a coaching and leadership development company that helps leaders become spiritually deep, risk-taking, non-anxious leaders who cultivate flourishing in the people and places they lead. Through this work, Greg coaches leaders and teams to thrive in both life and mission. A PCC-level coach with the International Coaching Federation and a certified Grip-Birkman coach for over 15 years, Greg has helped leaders uncover their unique design and align their gifts for greater impact. With more than 30 years of senior leadership experience in large churches, start-ups, denominational leadership, and as interim President of a long-term care home, he has guided organizations through both challenge and growth while helping launch new initiatives across Canada. Known for what he calls his “organizational MRI”—the ability to see beneath the surface of a team and identify what’s holding them back—Greg brings both clarity and encouragement. His passion is helping people step fully into who they were created to be, and what they were created to do—together. Greg lives in Cochrane, Alberta with his wife, Linda. Married since 1991. They have three daughters and three sons-in-law that live in other provinces. He believes deeply that personal transformation is the portal to organizational transformation, and his speaking calls leaders to embrace that journey with courage and conviction. www.LFTLeadership.com

Craig Douglas

Evening Keynote

Craig Douglas has served as the Executive Director at Timberline Ranch in Maple Ridge, BC, since 2005 – thanks to a very tolerant staff and board. He also serves as the president of the BC Camps Association and is the Chair Elect and the secretary of the CCI/Canada board. He has an MTS from Northwest Seminary and a BA from Briercrest. He enjoys too many hobbies to be good at anything, but he loves hiking, kayaking, disc golf, and European board games. Craig has authored two books: Pillow Fights & Sleepless Nights on Christian cabin leading and Two Paths on following Jesus wholeheartedly. He has a wonderful wife, two adult children, and a seven-month-old granddaughter (who is simply perfect!). He is very passionate about the gospel and helping the next generation find abundant life in Jesus.
