Working with Diverse Gender Identities

May 28, 2024 (12:00pm EDT)
Online Presentation

As we continue to work through how to support campers and staff who express various gender and sexual identities, join us for a presentation by Lucas Burton ( to learn more about how we can stand firm in our beliefs as Christians while a broken world asks for us to change. His speaking engages broadly on how to communicate the gospel to a changing culture around us. In this free workshop, Lucas will present on gender identity, pronouns, sexual orientation and how it all relates to us as camp organizations. Our hope is that this will help you prepare for your staff training and camper engagement this summer. There will be a time of Q&A at the end of the session as well. Register today, and we’ll send you an online meeting link about a week before the session is scheduled. This is a FREE event for CCI Member Camps. Coming this fall, Lucas will follow up this presentation with another about how we can prepare our policies and procedures to work through similar questions. (Details to be announced soon!)
