Spring Conference - Ontario Regional Event

March 23, 2026 Young Leaders | March 24, 2026 Spring Conference
Fair Havens, Beaverton, ON

We can’t wait to see you for another incredible Spring Conference! The Conference will be held at Fair Havens Camp & Conference Centre on March 24, 2026 and we’re thrilled to be hosting our 2nd annual Young Leader’s Meet-Up on March 23rd

Our theme for 2026 is “READY, SET….PAUSE!!”, a call to slow down and root ourselves deeply in God’s Word before the season ahead. As we pause to listen and abide in Him, we’re excited to see how He will shape your thoughts, ground your plans, and guide your steps according to His truth. We’re thrilled to welcome Steve McCready, Executive Director of Camp Mini-Yo-We, as our keynote speaker. Steve brings a wealth of ministry leadership experience and a passion for preaching and sharing God’s Word, and we’re excited to hear how God will use him to encourage us to pause, stay rooted in Scripture, and prepare well for the season ahead.

Here’s a sneak peek at what we have planned for our breakout sessions!

  • Decision Making – Putting it through the fire (Steve Archibald, Medeba)
  • Communication – It’s harder than you think! (Steve Archibald, Medeba)
  • Rethinking Gen staff – Recruit, Mobilize & Invest (Matt Wilkinson, Camp Kwasind)
  • Women in Leadership (Sharon Fraess, CCI National Director)
  • Admin – Round table discussion with material and idea swap

Stayed tuned for more to come!

Returning for 2026: Young Leader’s Meet-up

CCI Ontario is passionate about developing and equipping young leaders within camp. We are committed to supporting, connecting, and guiding the next generation. If you’re in your early 30s & under and have been in the camp world for five years or less—or you’re newer to leadership—this extra day is designed just for you.  This year, we will be doing the GRIP assessment along with a 1:1 coaching session with Rob Toews (CCI Canada).  We will also have Luke Henkelman (Camp Nakamun in Alberta) and Sharon Fraess, (CCI National Director) running the afternoon workshops around GRIP.

What is the Grip assessment you ask? It is 3 unique assessments designed to build Kingdom-focused teams.

  • Spiritual gifts – an assessment to understand our gifts, complete with definitions, characteristics, and even gift liabilities.
  • Team styles – an assessment to understand how our gifts translate into our fit in teams
  • Body building roles – an assessment to understand how our gifts translate into our part in building, expanding, and deepening the Body of Christ.

These assessments provide an understanding and framing for us to understand 3 key questions:

    1. Where am I strong?
    2. Where am I weak?
    3. Who do I need?

To top off the day, we’ll gather for an inspiring evening session with Steve McCready (Camp Mini-Yo-We)—followed, of course, by board games and some great snacks to close out the night.

Date: Monday, March 23 and Tuesday, March 24, 2026
Location: Fair Havens Camp and Conference Centre, Beaverton
Cost: $230 per person (CCI Member Camps only)

If you have someone who is close to this criteria, but aren’t sure, just reach out to us and we can chat about it!
