Head Housekeeper

Role 

The Teen Ranch Head Housekeeper is a year-round, full-time position. The Head Housekeeper plays a crucial role in shaping our guests’ first impression and ongoing perspective of Teen Ranch.

Requirements 

–  Fully aligned with the mission statement of Teen Ranch

–  Maintain and model spiritually thriving relationship with God and passion for Jesus

–  Detailed-oriented and conscientious; ensuring  a high standard of cleanliness 

–  Able to communicate effectively with other staff members

–  Proactive approach to problem solving

–  Digital literacy skills 

–  Physically active 

–  Experience managing others is an asset

Responsibilities 

Be an effective witness for Jesus Christ in actions and words through:

Cleaning

• General cleaning and presentation of guest rooms, meeting rooms, entryways, verandas, and stairs 
• Report any and all damages or broken items prior to/after group use to maintenance

Supervising

• train and supervise assigned cleaning staff
• Walk through buildings after they have been cleaned to make sure everything is presentable

Administration

• Order needed supplies
• Check TR online platforms for rooms and buildings used and creating a cleaning schedule

Satisfactory passing of a vulnerable sector check will be required of any successful candidate for this position
