Camp Imadene is seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, construction, and daily operations of our camp. This full-time position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in facility management, a strong work ethic, and a heart for ministry. The Facilities Manager will ensure that our buildings, grounds, and infrastructure are safe, functional, and well-maintained to support the life-changing experiences that happen at camp.
This role involves managing maintenance tasks, performing repairs, and overseeing equipment, vehicles, and infrastructure. The successful candidate will have experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance, ensuring that all camp facilities remain in excellent condition. They will also be responsible for planning and executing projects, working within budgets and timelines to enhance the camp’s infrastructure. Additionally, the Facilities Manager will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate volunteers, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including WorkSafeBC standards. Seasonal responsibilities such as winterization and preparing camp facilities for summer operations are also a key part of this role.
Candidates should have experience in facility maintenance, construction, or trades and possess strong leadership and organizational skills. The ability to problem-solve, work independently, and manage a team is essential. A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required, and previous experience in a camp, ministry, or non-profit setting is considered an asset. Most importantly, applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to Jesus Christ and align with Camp Imadene’s mission.
